Sometimes I still play God with clay.

I’ve been making sculptures on my time off (which is a few and far between thing) and after delaying from posting for a while for the sake of studying I finally have something worth posting!

I still might tweak him a little. For sure I still need to stabilize his base more.

 

Little guy's got a big behind.

Made from sculpey, a cleaned out egg (which takes a lot longer to do than I thought), and a fiendish mixture of oils, paints, and inks that went over his dark clay body.

 

All set to face the world.

If all goes well I’m hoping to have a couple sculptures by summer that I can sell on etsy. Anyone interested?
