One of my sketchbooks just burped!
February 5, 2009
And out came this odd mix of sketches! These are fairly old… some almost two years old and the freshest ones are 4 months old? Either way this is my accounts sketchbook that has crappy paper but very friendly rounded corners. Hence why things are oddly proportioned (pages are much smaller than my usual sketchbooks and I still suck at scaling) cropped oddly and have a blue grid background.
More under the cut that is being guarded by a freaky head toad. (Where did he come from and why won’t he stop staring at me every time I open this book??)

Head shots of the main character of a book I've been working on for god knows how long. Anytime I scribble notes next to a sketch they usually tend to be harsh/nonsense?

Another character from a webcomic I've been writing/drawing for who knows how long... ooh trend. But I like drawing her arms, hair, and eyes lots... even though I kind of fudgsicled her limbs.

Above lady's daughter/niece/beloved ass pain. It's a long story. No incest I promise. Just lots of death. Which really sucks.

No story. Just a girl with horribly sad eyes and her best robot friends. I don't remember what happened to their feet. Your guess is as good as mine.

Image from partial excerpts of a story I was working on for my baby niece. I figure I have until she learns how to read to finish it by. (I'm still seesawing between what age the girl above should be as is kind of obvious by the fact that she looks 5/6 but is crawling.)

One of two fanarts. I love drawing fanart but... I never end up drawing any it seems like. This and one other sketch in this book were the only fanarty pieces in there. I think I only like the Joker because of Harley Quinn (which is why I never saw Dark Knight... plus I like The Flash, Iron Man, and Green Lantern better than Batsy.)

My favorite webcomic of all time: http://www.friendlyhostility.com ! I sent this to the author a long time ago like a total nerd. I adore her work... and tried to fit as many characters of hers as I could into this small very scribbled page. Even Rafi is in there (he's just too short to have anything but the top of his head showing behind Fox's) I dunno... there's a lot of things that are off but it's made with lots of love and I still like it best out of everything in my little book...

Also from the partial drafts of my story for my niece. Oh early warped exposure to Shakespeare... it's a long story.

Lots of heads from the lots of different stories I'm always playing around with. One day... one day this will be able to make other people laugh besides me. Oh, I have no idea who that skeleton guy is though. I just find skeletons in suits amusing?

Those two SO do not watch american football. Bastards. Two very important and favorite characters from the same story as Nicolas... I wish they were taking this stroll on more ho-yay terms but unfortunately they will probably never have weird make-outs. And by probably I mean absolutely never. Except when I draw that tomorrow and never show anyone. Next time I sketch dump I'll make the captions more worth while.
That’s all from that book. I’m not sure if the pictures are showing up right or getting chopped because I keep getting different previews? Help?
And that’s all the posting I’m doing until next week. I have another sketchbook or two but so far they’re filled with things I rather keep fiddling with than scan and leave. Next posting will probably have nothing to do with that though. Till then!

I’m going to make that head frog out of clay and send it to you one day. Just so you can know its full freakishness.
